Healing Lost Hearts® 7-Hour Individual Intensive
Evidence-Based Strategies for Parents Accused of Parental Alienation
Understanding Dynamics, Self-Assessment, and Supporting Your Child’s Relationship with Both Parents
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Being accused of parental alienation is serious—whether the allegations are accurate, exaggerated, or completely unfounded. Regardless of the truth behind the accusation, this intensive provides what you need: comprehensive education on alienation dynamics, structured tools for honest self-assessment, and evidence-based strategies for demonstrating child-centered co-parenting to courts and professionals.
The 7-Hour Individual Intensive is designed for parents who need to understand what parental alienation is, examine their own attitudes and behaviors objectively, and develop concrete strategies for supporting their child’s relationship with both parents—even in high-conflict circumstances. Whether you believe the allegations are justified or not, this program helps you assess your role in family dynamics and make changes that prioritize your child’s emotional well-being.
Important Note: Participants are required to purchase the book Parenting the Alienated Child: Reconnecting with Lost Hearts separately (available via major retailers or the author’s website). The book serves as the foundational text and is essential for reference and preparation throughout the intensive.
Unlike group classes where sensitive self-examination may feel constrained, this individualized format allows for confidential, honest exploration of your specific situation. The program is case-specific and client-driven, addressing your unique family dynamics, the specific concerns raised about your behavior, and the strategies that will work best for demonstrating child-centered co-parenting to the professionals involved in your case.
This intensive combines structured education based on the book with deep, individualized consultation on your attitudes, communication patterns, and parenting behaviors that may be affecting your child’s relationship with the other parent.
WHO THIS INTENSIVE IS FOR This program is specifically designed for parents who: ✓ Have been accused of parental alienation by the other parent, court, or professionals ✓ Are court-ordered to complete parenting education addressing alienation concerns ✓ Want to honestly assess whether their behaviors are contributing to family conflict ✓ Need to demonstrate to courts and evaluators that they support their child’s relationship with both parents ✓ Are willing to examine their own attitudes and make changes for their child’s benefit ✓ Want individualized guidance rather than generic group education ✓ Need practical strategies for co-parenting in high-conflict situations without involving their child ✓ Are voluntarily seeking to improve their co-parenting and prevent alienation dynamics
This intensive is appropriate whether:
- You believe the allegations are completely false and want to demonstrate that clearly
- You recognize you may have inadvertently contributed to problematic dynamics
- You’re uncertain about your role and want honest, expert assessment
- You acknowledge past behaviors and are committed to change
WHAT MAKES THIS INTENSIVE DIFFERENT
- Non-Judgmental Assessment — Recognizes that alienation accusations exist on a spectrum—from completely false to inadvertent to intentional. The focus is not on labeling, but on understanding what behaviors courts assess, examining your patterns, and developing strategies that prioritize your child’s well-being.
- Individualized, Not Generic — Adapts to your family dynamics, specific concerns, relationship with your child and the other parent, and professionals involved—no one-size-fits-all curriculum.
- Honest Self-Examination in a Safe Space — One-on-one format allows open exploration of difficult questions: Have I said or done things that made my child feel caught in the middle? Do I communicate respect for the other parent? How do I process anger and hurt? Am I genuinely supporting both relationships?
- Child Impact Focus — Centers on how your attitudes and behaviors affect your child, helping you make choices that reduce stress and protect relationships.
- Practical and Demonstrable Change — Develops observable behavioral changes that can be documented and shown to courts, evaluators, and the other parent.
